I am having the worst luck with wiring lately!!!
 

Ok I have checked all my grounds and wires nothing is cut or loose. Last night coming home from work I stopped at an intersection started to take off and the DASH AND PARKING LIGHTS went off, the head lights and brake lights still work when the brake is pushed and the turn signals still work. BUT no dash lights or parking lights are working. Also the CABIN lights are now turning on when I turn on the lights and are kinda dim. Im so lost, its like a wire has gotten crossed or something and now my parking lights are the cabin lights.:lol: The only thing that I have done to any wiring is i replaced the turn singal sockets and ds side marker socket. I butt spliced the wires and it has been raining the last couple days so idk if water got down into the splices or not.

I don't know if you know this, but turning the knob for the lights brightens and dims your dash lights, I didn't know this for a long time haha. Also check the grounds AT the battery, that solved another one of my problems.

check the 2 RED wires that go in to the fuse box in the engine bay. think it is the top right on the harness. i had one that slid back and did wierd crap like that

Ok yeah I knew turning the knob changed the brightness. lol The dash lights are dead tho. Is the fuse box under the dash? But you said engine bay, do you happen to have any pics of what i need to look at specifically?

no pics sorry. yes the fuse box is under the dash but the main feed comes in from the engine bay. turn the lights on and do the wiggle test. grab the wires that are going to the box right by your brake buster and wiggle them around and see if they work right if so un bolt the fuse box and make sure the wires are all the way in it will be pretty ez to see one that is not

ok I'll try that. I have noticed that even my side marker parking lights are only working when turn signals are on, if it's not these two wires could it be a fuse issue thats causing the dash to be out also?

yes it can be. can be a back feed and a bad fuse. are the parking lights flashing with the turns? could also be a ground problem to

Yes the flash in sequence with the bumper signals where if they were working correctly flashed offset of the bumpers.

i think you have a bad feed to the parking lights. i would check the head light switch its self. i dont know about the flashers tho

ok but would my switch also cause the dash lights to be dead?

Check the grounds on the core support. I had a problem with one and it caused some issues...
