DESPERATE! 6 Lug Wheels!
 

I'm about at the end of the road here on my hunt for stock 55-59 6 lug wheels. :waah:

I've contacted the Wheel Smith. They can make 6 lug 15x5 wheels BUT it's $87 a wheel plus $100 to send in my stock caps to have them modified to fit. I already blew my budget on this truck build and I can't go that much farther. These wheels used to be considered scrap metal, surely someone is willing to let go of some without charging an arm and a leg.

I've contacted a few other places that do have obsolete old chevy parts but the price quotes I have been getting are out the door.

This is my final attempt. Does ANYONE have ANY lead to a set of 5 (or whatever I can get) FACTORY 6 lug 55-59 15 inch steel wheels with the clips for the small caps that they will sell at a reasonable price?

I'm headed to a yard tomorrow- will look for you. Tennesse isn't too far that we couldn't meet up.

Are these for your '56?

Please remember all classified ads must be in the classified ad section. I feel for you, but in the end this is a WTB post, and I cant just leave it after it was reported.. I hope you find a lead, but please consider becoming a subscribing member and posting a wtb in the appropriate forum.
