Anyone seen this type of flatbed before.

I come across this photo of a K30 and like the way they built this bed. The truck was from around Punta Gordo Fl. I am sure there are thousands of manufactures making flatbeds. I like the ways the tubes come back off the headache rack. I am not sure how useful the bed would be since they are welded in but I like it. Although they didn't finish out the headache rack very well.

My guess is that it is a One-Off (one of a kind) built by a fabricator or possibly a Fabrication shop. There are too many steps in how this rack built to be massed manufactured. But as I said, it’s only a guess (my guess) :ito:

We used to use 9" flatbeds on the farm as service trucks. We'd weld 1" square tubing like that all the way back to keep stuff from sliding off as well as a tie rail. Used short 1" pieces of the tubing for spacers from bed to rail bottom. Simple to build, in any pattern you like.

Sure makes a handy truck. Easy to see and reach about everything on the bed.

Looks like a former Fire or Ambulance chassis/cab that someone fabbed up a bed for.

The cutout on the fender for the emerg light. Was my guess too.

I was thinking that would be a great place to brace a brush/guard/grill off the frame…
