fixed tilt wheel, now steering wheel upside down

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum. I have a 1991 Blazer and I had the notorious tilt wheel issue with my steering column. Long story short, I repaired the tilt wheel and reassembled everything. Now after I finished putting everything back together, the steering wheel is virtually upside down. I didn't turn the wheel during the install and it only fits on one way, so I'm extremely confused. Am I missing something? I don't think a wheel alignment is going to fix this issue.

ive done a few tilt fixes and they always seems to be out a little after and a alignment will fix it, but to me it sounds like something moved.

Did you take the upper shaft completely out of the housing were it pivots? If so you put it back half a round off.
