How big of a rim can we get on a stock suspension?
 
How big of a rim can we use on stock stuff and drive good
i have a 74 shortbed, stock lift
it has 15 in rims and 31x10.5x15 tires, and dont rub
22s 24s 26s 28s 30s

When going bigger diameter than original, there is not going to be a "fitment" issue with the wheel itself. The problem you run into is...how short of a sidewall can you deal with? As stated, you are pretty much limited to a 31" tire, at that point it's all about wheel diameter and aspect ratio to stay with that max diameter versus acceptable sidewall height.

I want to get some 26s for my truck, so i should have at least like 5 inches for tires and it wont rub cause my old tire and rims are the same size 31...
