Anybody ever use any these wheels on their truck?

So I'm getting ready to drop my 1984 C10 and want some nice looking wheels I was looking on a website I found and found some really good deals on three different type of wheels just wondering if anybody has these on their truck. If so can you please post pics, sizes/BSing. The wheels are REV CLASSIC 100, DETROIT RIDDLER 695, BOSS 338. I really like the price of the REV CLASSIC 100's just not sure if they have them in our BSing criteria and rim width. If I do a 4/6 drop what should be the proper BSing granted I go with a 20x8.5 in the front and a 20x10 in the rear.

with 15X10s the BSing 5 and 1/4s of an inch. it gradually goes down 1/8s of an inch when you put more like another 1 inch on the rims diameter and width since your changing the geometry. so when you factor that in, you go and cut the rim BSing down to 2 3/4s for 20x10s and 20x8.5s

What?

Not trying to be rude,... but that made absolutely no sense.

Just a quick search looks like they come in 20x8 and 20x9.5.
Get the +12 offset on the 8's and 0 offset on the 9.5's and you should be good to go.

I know the Showwheels Streeter was not on your list, but these come in the backspace that is just right for these trucks. Just another option for you... as if there isn't too many options already for wheels! lol

This is why I don't like giving backspace numbers out.

In my opinion,... those front wheels don't tuck enough.
(looks like they would rub on a hard bump)
And definitely not enough if you ever decide to install bags on that truck.

Everyone should do their own measuring.

Re: Anybody ever use any these wheels on their truck?

my bad i was guessing, since most trucks i see with bigger rims dont have the dish look to them. but i guess it gives me some time to reflect and go through trial and error before i get the hang of the science. Ill be researching more about Back spacing

Re: Anybody ever use any these wheels on their truck?

Measuring your own vehicle is always the best, agreed, but we have done many trucks with this same setup. That 20x8.5 has a 5.25" backspace up front. I have them on my square body which is bagged, and they tuck in enough to clear.

When you do measure for backspace, keep in mind that all wheels will measure approximately 1" wider than they state. This is to take into effect the bead. Always measure backspace to the very back edge of the wheel (including the bead).

A ton of the s10 guys run Boss 338s. A quick google search will show you some c10s with them.

So with a regular 4/6 drop and coys 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear what backspacing does everybody usually run?

Re: Anybody ever use any these wheels on their truck?

I have Boss 338's. 20"x8.5" front and 20"x10" rear. Can't remember the front backspacing but I think the rear is 5.5".

Re: Anybody ever use any these wheels on their truck?

One problem with the 338's is the front wheels usually will not set flush unless you grind away a little metal around the outer part of the dust cap area. Took about 10 minutes per side with a grinder and flap wheel and mine fit just right.

I don't recall them offering many choices on back-spacing.
The fronts were 4.75 or 5.25" last time I checked (go w/5.25"). The rears were 5.0 or 5.5". I see now they offer 3.5, 4, 5, 5.5, & 7.25". For the stock width 73-87 rear housing, go w/5"bs.

I can comment on the Detroit ridler 695, china Junk. I got mine last month. Live and learn. Had I known they were made in china I would have never got them.
20x8.5 20x10 rear. Color don't match front to rear but I didn't notice till after they were mounted so I'm ****ed. After shipping I could have got american racing from my local Big O for $50 more. Buyer beware. I would not recommend ridler 695.
