solid red taillights ?
do they make taillight lenses all red with no backup lens inside?

Re: solid red taillights ?
I can't say that I have seen any, but you could take a stock pair and tint or "candy" the reverse lens red to match.
I have done this on several tail lights to get rid of the amber turn signal portion. The same would work for the reverse light. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f4...c/DSCN1028.jpg |

Not for our trucks. They did for the RV's that ran the same taillight. My grandpa's 5th wheel has the solid red lights.

wouldn't the white light shine pink when lit? Not sure I would dig that. vht makes a red sprayable tint. I used it on my camaro. and yes, it lights up pink when in reverse and I hate it.

Re: solid red taillights ?
I ran an independant wire from my brake light switch and replaced the clear reverse bulb with an amber one for my 4-ways and turn signals, and have fog lights for my reverse lights, so now my running lights and stop lights are red, my 4-ways are amber in the reverse light location and my reverse fog lights are at the corners of the bumper. Looks pretty cool and it's factory but custom.
