which kit is has best bang for buck
looking to lower my 65 3/5 and looking at different kits and i found 2 but they both are different 1 has sway bars and no shock relocaters and the other has the relocaters but not the sway bars so which would be better bang for buck

Re: which kit is has best bang for buck
I would not recommend the end link style anti-sway bar sold by CPP. Instead I would recommend the original style sold by ECE. Look under the category "suspension components" and you will see several kits. Here's a photo.
Shock relocators will help give a better ride but are totally optional. |
Re: which kit is has best bang for buck
go with ECE that is all they do is parts for our trucks and up to 72

FYI - You can find your own ECE style bar at a salvage yard and just buy new bushings. Total cost would be under $60 plus your time. |
Re: which kit is has best bang for buck
i am only lowering mine 3/5 for now because i dont have the money for the drop spindles right now so i think i will be alright

Re: which kit is has best bang for buck
well update i went with the brothers 3/4 lowering kit because of the 15% sale i got the lowering kit which has the coils, shocks, and front and rear sway bars also ordered a defroster hose kit and figuered i might as well get a shirt too and ended up spending a total of $630.00 all together i thought that was a hell of a deal lol

Re: which kit is has best bang for buck
well as my luck goes i got a confermation for my parts last night for 630 shipped and everything now today i get an email from brothers saying half of the stuff is backordered and my total went up 130 dollars from the quoted price man that place is a joke so i canceled the order looks like some things are to good to be true

Re: which kit is has best bang for buck
Now no shirt? Just kidding.. thanks for posting your feedback - it helps others from making the same mistake. I've been saving the money in the couch cushions for some porterbuilt stuff - know what it's like to have the itch.
