which kit is has best bang for buck

looking to lower my 65 3/5 and looking at different kits and i found 2 but they both are different 1 has sway bars and no shock relocaters and the other has the relocaters but not the sway bars so which would be better bang for buck

I would not recommend the end link style anti-sway bar sold by CPP. Instead I would recommend the original style sold by ECE. Look under the category "suspension components" and you will see several kits. Here's a photo.

Shock relocators will help give a better ride but are totally optional.

The ECE bar is 1.25". The end link bar is 1.125". So the ECE bar is thicker. Some prefer the way the ECE bar mounts to the top of the lower control arm using the factory pre-drilled holes that are there. I think I saw a lot of GM trucks at the salvage yard, so it is a common way to hook up a sway bar. I think someone said once that with the end link style there might be tire interference in hard cornering (but I think it was only with drastically lowered trucks with certain tire/wheel combinations). Maybe someone else can back me up on that or set me straight if I'm wrong.

FYI - You can find your own ECE style bar at a salvage yard and just buy new bushings. Total cost would be under $60 plus your time.

Now no shirt? Just kidding.. thanks for posting your feedback - it helps others from making the same mistake. I've been saving the money in the couch cushions for some porterbuilt stuff - know what it's like to have the itch.
