I see there is a Resistor on there is that run the A/C or does that run both A/C and heater? do I need that?...Now for a few more things... I have a Haynes Repair Manual but it does not cover things that I'm more less looking for Like Vac. Hoses to open and close heater door and vent doors ..Is that a book that shows all of the things that I'm looking for been to the Chevy Dealer and they have not a clue where to find one....need my heat in the winter,

Try looking at the site below and you can allways call them. They are down below in Orange. I need a new heater core for my 74 as well soon. It's hella cold up here at times LOL.

There is a company that sells a conversion kit that gets rid of the big box.
There is also a vacuum hose that needs to be connected to intake vacuum so as to work the vacuum operated doors and switches
