reattatch windows locks
So I'd like to reattatch the sliding window locks on my suburban. Probably the reason they're hard to find is they all came off over years of use. That tells me there was a problem with them from the beginning. To me it looks like they were just sqeezed on with a thin piece of rubber between the lock and glass. So is there a more permanent solution such as a glue of some kind. Anyone that has had success with reattatching these please chime in.

Re: reattatch windows locks
It's all the rain in the Pacific Northwest that makes them not stick. If you mail them to me, they will stick here in the desert. Ha
Maybe the glue that holds a rear-view mirror on would work. I don't recall ever seeing a mirror fall off. |

Check 3m 5200 marine sealant. It won't come off. Promise.

Talk to a local glass guy. Urethane them on. It is glue that is used for holding glass to metal.
