Replacement Doors / Window seal fit

I just got my truck back from the body shop. We put put new aftermarket doors on and I'm real happy with the fit, except the window slots seem to be wider than the stock doors, and I'm not at all happy with the fit of the vent & window seals. The seals that are in there now were from the old doors, I just ordered all new hoping that this will correct the problem. Has anyone else run into this issue with replacement doors?

Welcome to the world of crappy aftermarket parts.

Aftermarket doors have been crap for years. There are a few vendors that refuse to sell them because of that. Hope your new seals fix your problem.

Good info. I have seen where some vendors wont carry some products. What brand doors and fenders are considered good?

I would never buy doors, or fenders i will look till the end of time for good used ones first. But that is just me.

There are still many good used OEM doors/fenders available, check the classifieds. I would rather fill speaker holes and replace fender cups than use crappy aftermarket parts that don't fit.

I have some after-market parts. But no doors.
I have two sets of doors. (all factory). But all four have different things wrong with them.
I'm taking the best two, and having some mirror holes welded up, and a few dents hammered out. There really isn't any rust on them. But everyone I've talked to who has bought after-market doors had to do some "massaging" to get them to work (read, beat them into shape with hammers).
For anything else besides doors.. I've had good luck.
I have after-market bed side steps, tailgate, front left fender, inner wheel wells,
and a left side rocker panel replacement. I haven't had any trouble with these parts.
I've gotten them from all over. (Manes, Brothers, eBay, NPD, Jim Carter)
but for reason haven't bought anything from LMC yet. I don't have anything against them, they just haven't had the best prices for what I need at the time. (Also, it seems their shipping for large parts is a little higher, at least to where I live).
