64 GMC Dash

Well as it turns out Classic Dash says the 64 Chevy dash wont bolt in in place of my GMC dash. With that being said where can I get one made from aluminum? Without paying thru the nose for it, even if its a plate I have to bolt in over the existing dash.

You would have to use the blank dash from a 60-61 I believe.

Ebay...

go to e-bay. go to vintage parts and put in gauges. they sell them for gmc's. with dolphin gauges. i think it is the people that do easy wire harness. they are around $200

Bose Engineering is the only place I know. I got one with gauges included, blanks are a lot cheaper. Like everything else, the harder they are to come by, the more they cost......

Look around on this forum, the guys here have done a lot of different things with gmc dashes and gauges. Look around for a old one that is straight , I redid mine and I think it turned out fairly well. It is all stock except for the chrome plating on the plastic.....Kieth

I will probably go with theirs but the listed measurements are off I think because when I measured mine on the inside edges it came to 21 1/4" x 5 1/4". I will email them this weekend.
