Re: rare cab
Yes I have the glass if it wasnt there when i first seen the truck in the bush i probably would have left it there . wheres a guy going to find replacements?
|
Re: rare cab
Maybe one on a firetruck years ago but not many for sure. That should make for an interesting truck.

Re: rare cab
i think if ya work on it - that will be one nice ride and one v v cool classic
maybe a glass shop could template it and repop replacements ? |
Re: rare cab
anyone know what the series 500 canadian cab is equivalent to in the states?
looks like a 1 ton pickup, i've only seen those split big windows in bigger gmc trucks. not that i don't learn something new every week about task force truck on this forum :D |
Re: rare cab
Looked at one today! Glass is not repoped and is compound curves. Rubber is same as back standard back window. In fill panels look like they are just spot welded and seam sealed to a standard big window cab sheet metal stamping. Only came in GMC cab trim.

Re: rare cab
yes your right GMC cab trim only Canadian models only I think, this cab came off a old water tanker truck used in the logging industry up here in BC Canada, the truck was probly 2 ton or bigger and was running 20 inch dayton wheels and a dually rear end
