Looks allright to me.

Bitter Beard 06-12-2003 09:42 PM

Just don't put a five foot scoop on the back of your vehicle and I think you'll be ok :)

Looks good!

phantom dually 06-12-2003 10:57 PM

Hey man you all know that a 5 ft wing on the back adds a minimum of 50 hp. I beleive its like 10 hp per foot???

1969 GMC 06-12-2003 11:17 PM

that is acceptable because it isnt a monster tach with the shift light on the side of it, and a "Type R" overlay on the face.

And yes, those spoilers add at least 50 rwhp, in addition to the 100 or so already up front, making the ricer an all wheel drive rallyracing menace :p

I have an Autometer one and they give you a cover for nightime use...but without that cover at night they are BRIGHT AS HELL!

It doesn't look too ricey IMO.

I like the idea of a plate over the little cubby hole. The only thing i ever put in the cubby hole was spare change.:bowtie: jay

rockman20 06-13-2003 09:35 AM

Yup, I think it looks good to. Shift light is kinda big, but it still looks good.

And don't forget to put yellow stickers on the truck to. (on that nice bright yellow truck!) Because according to Ricer engineering, it doesn't matter what the sticker is, but as long as it is yellow, you are adding horsepower.

PHOENIX 06-13-2003 10:53 AM

How about some more interior pictures of your truck?

whats wrong with a big fat tach? and a shift light will help improve consistency. true, there is no point in having one if the vehicle isnt otherwise modified, but why wouldnt you want to keep track of your revs?

swervin ervin 06-13-2003 08:14 PM

Hey, ain't nothing wrong with a big shift light. :D

I think it looks cool. I like gauges and doodads. It gives me something to do while driving. A shift light is a must if you are shifting an auto manually.

PHOENIX 06-14-2003 12:39 AM

Or a manual manually :)

I WILL GET A T56!

I hope :)

bigblock73 06-14-2003 12:49 AM

Mike, your dash pic looks like a pic of an airplane cockpit! :D

I really like the detail on your interior...excellent work!

Thats a lot of gauges!!! looks good though.

VTKidder 06-14-2003 11:22 AM

It looks trick, but kinda out of the way. It makes sense to put the tach were you don't have to hunt around for it....in that location, and with the smaller diameter tach, I'd think it would be tough to accurately read it at a quick glance. Very understandable that mounting room is limited, and I probably would have done the same thing....just my .02.
