Re: 76 blazer interior questions.

You got me on that one. I had a 76 once and it did not have a headliner, but it was a Cheyenne. I don't know if it was available or not in 76. And the 76 model still had the raised rear floorboards that curved up behind the front seats similar to a pickup so the seatbelts might have been interchangeable if not the same. Someone may chime in who knows better.

I have a 76 with the Cheyenne package and did not have a headliner either. According to LMC truck, the seat belts on the 73-75 blazers are the same as the trucks from 73 to 87. The 76-91 blazer belts have a different part #.

The 77 I am restoring has the male end of the seat belt that does appear to be the same as a truck (just a lap belt though), but I am not sure the female end is the same. I seem to remember that the trucks just had a belt by itself and not the hard plastic case surrounding it for a Blazer bucket.
The funny thing is that mine is a Cheyenne and has the option for a shoulder belt too. It was not being used, but in a 79 I had many moons ago, the retractor part of the belt mounted to the rear panel just behind the front seat and then attached to the mount shown. Sorry, that is the only picture I could find!
The picture of the headliner is also from my 77, but I do know that some 76's had a headliner - maybe the Silverado and not the Cheyenne?

Apparently shoulder belts were an option in 76, mine also had the the threaded holes in the B-pillars.

Here's the info packet from the GM Heritage Center archive for a '76 Blazer:

http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs..._Full-Size.pdf

This should answer a lot of your questions, particularly about interior trim packages, etc.
