Do all small block chevy's have this

1 Attachment(s)
So I'm considering replacing my 327 with a 383 stroker during my frame off restoration - I was walking around the engine last night and the clutch linkage caught my eye and I was wondering if all small block chevy have a place on the block where there other side of the linkage sets in - picture is probably worth a thousand words here. Hopefully the question makes sense.

It appears that not all but many do. He is a link to where I was reading. It seems like you will have to check each candidate.

Thanks guys - I guess it's called a "boss" from the reading - I'll have to be sure I know that's in place on a new block. Thanks for the insight.

I put a 283 out of a 67 nova in my 64 4x4 and there was no hole in the block to mount the ball for the z bar. I had to make a bracket i thought all blocks had this too
