'Rain Rail' On The Cab, What to seal it with?
I have a 1970 C10 and need to fix the , what I am calling, the 'Rain Rail' on the top of the cab.
It appears the factory sealant is flaking off and I need to reseal it before rust gets into that seam. Suggestions? |

Thanks for the quick response,
I wonder, because I an not looking to paint this truck right now but want to prevent anymore rust in that seam, if I could just us some silicone in place of this seam sealer.?.?.??? I plan on using this truck for a farm truck for then next 10 or so years and then restore it later, there for I don't want to take the time to seam it "properly" now when I am going to re do it later. Thoughts?? |

I would try dicor self leveling rv / camper sealant. Fairly cheap. Meant for outdoors and roofs plus its white and regular caulking tube - eBay

Yes he is looking for some what temporary seal. Granted doing it right once is better but I understand the circumstances :)
