Nice truck, I'm having a hard time seeing 12,500 for it though.

It looks like someone swapped in an open drive rear end at some time and didn't center the rear axle like it should be but other than that it would be a great start or just a nifty driver for someone.

Looking closer it looks like one side of the rear end is a little more forward, hope its the camera angle. I think 12.5 is a little high too.

From the price it sounds as it came from a pretty nice barn.

I'd put it at about $7000.
It looks good, but no one (yet) put the time and effort to focus on the details to make it a 12,500 dollar car

At the current asking price for ragged project trucks that need a lot somewhere between 5 and 7K might not be out of line for a truck that you can drive home and drive home and don't need to hunt for sheet metal for. What you don't have to do or buy is worth something in it's self. Right now I'd say the guy is on a fishing expedition hoping to land a big one.

Orrie, I think it's the angle of the sun that makes it look like the right wheel is forward. The shadow of the fender is blocking part of the whitewall.

Re: barn Find in NM?

I'm pretty sure that it has had an open drive rear end swapped under it Russel. That is almost exactly how they sit if you put a 55/57 rear axle under one and don't drill new holes to locate the axle on the spring bolts in the proper spot.
