Suggestions for a stiffer suspension in my 2004 Tahoe.
I found these air bags to help when puilling a trailer. I had a 7X12 trailer with a willys frame on it. It was embarassing how much the 2004 Tahoe 4X2 sagged. I'm looking to get a car hauler and would like to see a level ride without a load leveling hitch.
Firestone bags. http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/bmz_ca...ge.300x154.jpg This kit has to be aired up manualy. I'd like to have an automatic system with an on board air compressor. Suggestions. We are also looking at an 18' camper that will be towed with the Tahoe. |

can't you use any old on board system with those bags? I have the Rancho shock system... air is air...

You can also try the coil over shocks....got mine at Orielly's for about a $120...they make my Tahoe look higher in the rear when not in tow but with a trailer is level and I don't need to worry about air !!!!!!

Thanks guys. I'll look into it. The adjusting shocks should fit the bill.

I think the shocks will be too stiff... The air is a better option. And adjustable.

I found 2 different listings for a rear coil spring. MOOG 81069 is a heavy duty and MOOG 81071 is a standard duty spring. Has anyone had any experience with either of these? I would assume factory is standard duty.
