Preferred Shop Manual??
Not something general like Clymer or Haynes - I already have that. I'm looking for a comprehensive manual, and I think a few years back I saw that GSPP had a factory shop manual for about $40 - very affordable! Is anyone familiar with it, or can you recommend a different one?

g.m. overhaul manuals
Someone on here has mentioned about g.m. overhaul manuals saying that they were really good, and covered different subjects(steering box overhauls, differential overhauls, etc.) but I don't know if you need a manual for every subject, or if one manual covers everything. I think I will phone my local g.m. parts-counter guy, he should know.I will post what I find out on Monday.:canada:

Thanks...
While I don't plan any major overhauls, I do have a few pending projects, and could use a decent disassembly/reassembly guide. Getting inside the dash is one thing, for padding replacement and possibly windshield washer motor replacement. Also my auto trans gear indicator is history, and my gas guage is a bit off. Small details, but a how-to book would be helpful! ;)

The Chevrolet Factory Service Manual is what you want. There is also a Factory Overhaul Manual
