I think this company makes a flush cover. I need to look into them for mine.

Re: Bed cover

This is the only company that I have found that makes them. I think they may be the only one.

Re: Bed cover

Do you want a solid bed cover or would one that folds up work? I have a Bak-Flip on my 2011 GMC that works great and it is flush with the bed rails.

Did you ever find a solution? There is offically nothing available except custom since stslids number goes to an 800# scammer service when I called. Anyone know a custom shop that will ship?

Snugtop makes a low profile lid for the trucks. I have one on my 84 GMC SWB.

Re: Bed cover

I was looking for ones that sat flush or even better a 1/4 below the bed rails. Looks like pro's-choice makes one out of canada in aluminum.

I am right there with ya. I would like one that fits in between the bed rails.

Truxedo makes a soft cover for the 73-87 as well.

You might look at these. This company stands behind their products. I have one of the fold up hard covers on my 2011 GMC. I would consider the vinyl covered metal one for my next purchase.

Oops, I guess it's parts only, too bad, I had one of those covers on my S-10, nice quality cover.

I never found anything like what I originally wanted. Gaylord and Snuglid are probably the best solution for a hard cover but I'll probably just go with a soft cover.

Re: Bed cover

I bought my soft cover off eBay for $299 if memory serves me correct. It's hinged and raises up and is easily removed.

Re: Bed cover

I was wanting one that I could paint to match my truck and also thought about painting something on it as well. Looks like no one offers anything like that anymore. I am not a fan of the ones that set on top of the bed rails.

This is a Snuglid that I have had on my truck for many years. I purchased it for the 1996 Hot rod Power Tour. It allows me t lock up the bed and keep things dry.
