whats this hole suppose to look like
 

Im looking at this antenna hole on the cowl and it looks messed up. Anyone have a pic of what this hole should look like? what kind of grommet goes in the hole?

Mine didn't have a grommet, it was all gooped up w/ seam sealer, all around the antenna wire.. don't know if that's right but that's how it was when I took it apart.

On my '62, the hole is on the seam in the corner for some reason. It had no grommet on it, nor seam sealer.

Following are the antenna installation procedures from the 1960 Accessories Installation Manual. There are no specific reference dimensions for where to the hole leading into the cab should be drilled. And no grommet part number but there is one shown in the last sketch.

thanks guys, I guess i need to look at some catalogs and see if anyone offers a grommet or some sort or find an alternate one that will work. It does say the hole suppose to be 1/2 inch, thats a good start, thanks

I used one from a grommet set on the HELP! rack at the FLAPS.
