This truck is for sale and is advertised as a short bed. It looks like a long bed to me. What do you think.

Looks like a shorty to me. A tape measure would confirm this pretty easily?

the cab doors are 42" long, the wheelwell to cab is about 38-39" on long box. hold a ruler up to the pic, the wheelwell to cab length is almost the same. i'd also say longbox

I have no doubt that it is a long bed. Back of cab to front of door puts you right in front of brake drum on a long bed, and right behind the brake drum on a short bed.

Some longbeds had 16 gallon tanks as well, there is no such thing as a "shortbed" tank.

I thought it looked like a long bed. I was going to call about it but it didn't look right. They are asking $600 but he said to make an offer. There have been parts sold off of it already. I wanted a short bed 4x4 to fix up after I get my other short bed done.

Never been a fan of cutting the frame down. I called and the guy doesn't have a title anyway. Back to shopping for one.

Mine is still in one piece. Understand, no title-no deal.
