Big Block head numbers
 

A buddy of mine has a couple sets of big block heads that have been in the back of his shop for at least 20 years, can anyone give me any info such as year or if they are any good for high performance? #6272292 AND #3872702 They also have PASS cast into them?

You'd be better off finding a set of 781 or 049 oval port castings if you're looking to build up a set. They flow the best of any big block oval ports.
You might put those other heads on ebay. List them with the casting number and date codes. A lot of guys restoring cars are looking for heads like those. Just a thought.
