Saying goodbye to an old friend.

So tonight I sold my 70 C/10 with which over the last year I have had so many adventures, it was a great truck, never let me down, just kept on chuggin.

It was sad seeing it drive away, I snapped this picture as it did.

All I can say is goodbye old friend; You treated me well.

I also do the same thing everytime I sell a vehicle. I always watch it go down the street till I can't see it anymore. Just something I do.

This is something a lot of folks just don't understand.

Yeah I know the feeling. I sold my 2010 SS camaro last year and it was tough watching and hearing it take off with the headers and borla exhaust I put on it. Man that car sounded good!!

I did the same thing when I sold my boat and then when it got out of sight I jumped for joy!!

but like you my vehicles are a different story ... and many I wish I had never sold.

Its sad to see one leave but just think how happy you made someone else .I recently sold my 55 Bel Air and I still get to see it cruising around and the new owner is very happy with it and I never drove it anymore so it made me happy plus it gave me $$$$ to spend on the truck .

I'm not one to sell my baby's.I just hope when i die some one stumbles onto my clash of trucks and 1 car and suburbans and gives them good homes.I'm a guy that tends to keep adding parts to all my trucks most of them have engines in them Plus most of them have the 1987--90 700R4 bolted to the 327's and 350's i'm just have sitting under the hoods.Them 700R4 are getting hard to come by i got 5 of them I still have 3 of them to stick under 2 of my running trucks

Hope I never have to experience it. Have bought/sold many cars and trucks through my years, but I have never been more passionately in love with any vehicle, like I am my '72.

Actually, the truck belongs to my chihuahua...I'm just the chauffeur. At least that's how it seems most of the time. She goes everywhere with me in that truck. And with that, I think I'll fire her up and go get some fresh donuts!

Delicious! Two cherry/sprinkles for my grandson (he's six and lives with us) and a maple cake and cinnamon roll for paw paw.
