Good Grief Yall...

I've been browsing and searching through this forum and every question and thought I have had has been readily available... distributor, suspension, interior, it's all been covered... reading through threads and just trying to keep up. I feel like my brain is racking up info faster then the dollar wheel on a gas pump...

Keep up the good work, time for me to go read about body work and paint.

Mr. Handy welcome to the forum and yes between us all you can get an answer or a place to find it.

Re: Good Grief Yall...

The board has also been around for quite some time now. And the reason you get so many different threads to look at is we don't have the "USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION, STUPID" mentality that most forums have :D

Re: Good Grief Yall...

I have never been on a forum for more than two months. Come June I'll have been on here two years! I love this site. So much useful info, so many great people. The Mods do a great job keeping the peace and everyone seems to self police themselves. I don't think I've been around so many people who are so willing to provide info. As far as I'm concerned 67-72chevytrucks.com is the center of the universe when it comes to these trucks. For as much advice as I've given, I've also asked. I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. I have a runner I love and a "baby" on the way. I am absolutely positive that I wouldn't know half the stuff I know about C10s if it wasn't for this site.

I was a member way back when this site was fairly new. I left for many years and found the site again back in 2007. I'm glad it's still the same great group of truck enthusiasts willing to help others.

Only thing we need to remember is to keep politics, race and dissing others off. There's lots of members from different countries here. It's what makes this place great.

And, I agree that mods do a good job of keeping everyone in line.

It is a wonderful board.

Over the years I've met countless members in real life. I've bought and sold many things and always had good experiences.

The cool thing is that when you get to know these fellas really well you learn who is knowledgable about different stuff. I got buddies here that I can ask about cooking, home repair, medicine, or proper procedure to dispose of a dead body.

Just don't ask for advice about women troubles. No one on any board has that stuff figured out.

There is indeed a lot of good info here, as such I don't have much reason to post anything or ask questions when a quick search will solve everything.

No one has women figured out.If they did they would cash out big time by selling the info.

I like that. I saw one the other day that compared marriage to a deck of cards. Something about 2 hearts and a diamond and the winning hand having a club and a spade or something. LOL I love my wife of 16 years and NO.....I don't understand them either.

It's always "Who are we...Women", "What do we want...We don't know", When do we want it"?...."NOW"!

You don't need the internet for that. Just ask your woman. If she can't help,it's time to move on and find another. Works for me. Been doing it all my life!

I know exactly what you mean there!!!!! I was a member of a forum once and every thread I looked at there was someone telling the OP to "USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION STUPID, THIS HAS BEEN COVERED BEFORE!" answer. Or another forum where the standard answer was to "CHECK THE CHILTON BOOK, STUPID!"

I'm glad we don't have that here, of course it does get a little annoying reading people ask about how to get the ignition tumbler out. "lol:

Re: Good Grief Yall...

By the way, how do you get the ignition tumbler out? Just kidding, If you don't know me, one thing I like is a little humoras long as it is not hurting anyone else. Also I have gotten lots of great info in here and I would like to think I might have helped someone not only here on this section but in the paint and body as well where I may spend quite a bit of time answering not only forums questions but ones that come to me through the PM system. I have spent a lot of time in the body shop and in the car business and don't mind passing along some of the lessons learned the hard way and that is what makes this site different[read better] than others because on some of the other sites they want to keep their hard earned lessons secret. Hahaha, I am after all a ... Women! But really, thanks to you all for the great help youve been . I'm sure ill have more questions down the line and ill turn to the forum.
