So besides my truck getting hit (see my other tread NEW OLD LOOK PPG DP90).... I just got my new motor built and installed .." BUDGET BUILD ", Its a built 350 (355) .30 over ,350 4 bolt main,Scat crank,scat Rods remaned and resized with ARP Bolts Scat Forged I beam,Speed pro pistons ceramic skirts , Moly Piston Rings,Clevite 77 bearing throughout,Melling Hi volume Oil Pump,Cloyess Performance Timing set,Summit racing cam 232/234 dur@.50,.........The heads rebuilt 194/160 3 angle valve job,performance springs for up to .550 lift,Roller rockers 1.5, Harden seats,push rods, all new hardware ect..... Yes i want vortec or better...but these will work for now........The intake is Edelbrock rpm topped with a 2" phenolic spacer and 1406 edelbrock carb (tuned heavy rod's/jets)...The ignition is hei MSD streetfire and 8.8 wires ...... The The exhaust is a set of summit mid length chrome ceramic headers for ( Chevelle,elcamino,nova) they fit perfect on my 86 c10 , Then i went with a h pipe set up back with flow master knockoff 44's ..Sounds awesome ,.........The tranny is th350 with b&m shift kit scat flywheel & 1600/1800 stall,3.73 bolt Rearend and new yoke with lakwwood u joints ....Next is a posi rear...SO motor guys are telling me this motor makes around 350+ hp ????,I can hang with or leave most any thing stock/mild performace,It barks the tires in every gear HARD almost scary that my flip kit going to explode,but i have kept eye on it. So that what i have been doing this winter...thanks for looking

it sucks that you're truck got hit, i feel you're pain though.the same thing happened to my crew a few months ago-wound up having to re-do everything i already did. you're truck is looking good now though, very sanitary engine bay-that thing must be a blast to drive! i'm digging the look you got going on there- might have to steal it for my shorty!
