Gmc deluxe window trim
 

Im working on a set of GMC deluxe window trims for my 63 Chevy. I plan on using them w/Chevy sail panels and the deluxe back cab trim instead of the typical GMC deluxe package. Ive got about all the literature that I have seen in my 20+ years with these trucks, but dont have any literature on the specific piece of trim. All my literature is Chevy too, though not GMC. I purchased them from a buddy who didn't remove them himself. My question is...does anybody know the correct mounting locations? I believe its the same as the suburban deluxe trim, so maybe the burb guys can help too. I can take a drill and just start making holes, but it'd be nice to have the correct locations and the placement of the clips in the trim to install them properly. I have completed most of the dent removal and have done my fine sanding, so Ill polish this weekend if time permits. The blue door is my rust free driver side donar, so I'd like to get the door hung 1st and aligned, then install the trim. Thanks for any help on this. If anybody needs any dimensions on these two trim pieces, just let me know and I can take pics while they are off the truck.

Hum, never seen that before! Has a cool look and adds the the detail of the truck!

looks great - I've see it added to chevs on occasion - looks good on anything, but that's one of a few gmc jealousies I secretly have... Shhh, pls don't tell anyone.

ive got several pics, im looking for oem specs on mounting locations. old crash or build sheets that show original drill points. ive got a pic of 2-3 i can add tomorrow of it on a chevy. ive got 60 wide windshield trim too. i plan to chrome the metal window frames also for a little more pop

I only have the custom cab pieces all my other trim is airbrushed on!
I might have sprayed something like that on if I had seen it before..

whoever did that paint job did a hell of a job. you could always add the stainless trim to the window

My '62 GMC Burb has all the custom trim.

What do you need ?

I have never seen this before. These are great pics. I plan to paint the light blue cab with white top but with the chrome strip and white inside it may have to be an option.

I see the trim pop up from time to time....as low as $40 and as high as $200. Think I gave $70 shipped for mine from a buddy and I got all the clips w/them.

Good luck finding the GMC trim, I just want a pair of the custom emblems not all the other chrome and I have not been able to find those....

Saw a set of the 64-66 trim on ebay this morning. Under 60-63 suburban GMC truck delux trim. Looks like a decent set. Couple of peolpe said they were looking for it, there you go. They say its 60-63, but its definitely 64-66 Trim
