2001 silverado z71 4x4

Ihave a problem with the trans in my truck.I have the push button wheel drive controll Iwas plowing this morning and i pressed the 4 low button and when i went to go back to 2 wheel it would not come out of 4 low.I tried other buttons but no luck Can someone give me insight on what the problem could be .Note I have never pressed the 4 wheel low since i have owned the truck [5years] I am mechanical but have no idea where to start.maby someone else has had the problen .Thanks Tony

Did you have the truck stopped with the shifter in neutral?

Thank you.That was the problem .in nutral it came out of 4 low.Tony

:lol: Same thing happened to me when I first used 4lo. I panicked. Luckily I found the answer in the manual, internet forums weren't all that popular yet.
