crew cab
I am thinking i am going to start looking for a crew cab. I just got my 01 cummins paid off, my 69 swb is almost done and its time for a new project. something i can actully drive....pull a trailer to rodeos and stuff. i figure i can do that body work and all that then put a the cummins in it, plus i am going to go with a flat bed so only half the body work. but here is what i am wondering. did they make a swb crew? is there anything i should look for? any advice when i am looking? also anyone swapped a 24v vp cummins? i am a little worried about the wiring.

Re: crew cab
if you want a short wheelbase crew, you'll have to make it yourself. cut the frame or drop a crew cab on a reg. cab frame. cutting is easiest

Re: crew cab
if your going flat deck route, if you could find one, a cab & chassis crew dually with the narrower axle. good luck though, most were beat in oil & logging co.'s. personally i'd leave it at 8 feet. if your pulling a trailer & going to rodeo's, lwb better for towing, & more space for saddles & stuff

Re: crew cab
If your going to bed pull a trailer keep it a long bed gives you better control over the trailer.
