2 Tailgates, 1 NOS and 1 OEM
 

I have got two tailgates for sale. One is an NOS that I have had for 9 or 10 yrs. It has one very small ding thanks to Fedex when it got shipped to me. I was told the OEM gate was off of a 70, the guy had it professionally stripped, but then left it bare metal in his garage for 4 or 5 yrs. It got minor surface rust on it in a few areas. I took a wire wheel to it and it cleaned right up. It has very minor pitting in a few areas that should clean up with primer. There is a small dent on the top edge and two small dings near the inner bottom and a pin hole adjacent. It is straight and one of the most solid, undented gates I have seen in years. $850+ shipping for the NOS and $425+ shipping for the OEM.

No problem........I figured if you were coming, I would meet you there. That would save shipping for both of us. Do you have the original box? Im hoping you can package the ol' girl so it doesnt get damaged in shipping. Im not sure where you shared it was damaged from the previous shipping? Was it dented that bad?

The pic on post five shows the ding. It is very small. I have it packed up already. I built a wooden frame around it, wrapped it in bubble wrap and skinned it with that real heavy industrial cardboard and lots of taping. I wanted to make sure nothing happened to it on its way to its new home.
