My 84 c10 project

Well, here's my truck an the story on it. It's an 84 c10, originally a 305,350c truck. It came to mi from Oklahoma in 2000/2001 to MI. A friends dad drove it back. My dad bought it in 2003 for me when I was 14 a a project for me and him, it was still fairly clean for a MI truck then so it just needed a little body work and and then paint. We got all the body work done but by then it was slow going as I was off to college and driving my 97 s10 ss( it was a real ss truck had the build sheet and was spotless from TN) so the truck just sat with the body work half done from 2007 when I blew out the rear axle. By this point the 305 had been replaced by a 350 that proceded to blow up 2 day after installing it. Then that was replaced by a 355 that was pulled from a camaro that had wrapped it self around a tree. The 350c had also been replaced with a standard 350 with some goodies in it. In 2009 my dad passed away and I had my daughter in 2008 so the truck had done nothing but sit till last summer when I drug it out of the weeds. A batterie, and gas and she fired right up.

Any way enough back story on it here's the plans. 5/7 static, a few minor things to the motor, and lots of metal and body work, this time done right and not put away in primer. Along with changeing the junk 273 rear end out for something more fun, like a 342 or 373 with a true track. For paint I'm thinking I really like the looks of the hill hot rods shop truck with the tan and brick color.

Now for the pics

What do you all think, any ideas or advice? This will be my fist time doing body work and as you can see it needs a bit.
