Bench Seat Removal

Can anyone tell me how to take the bench seat out of my truck and what tools I will need? My truck is an 82 GMC Sierra.

Thanks guys.

Its a bolt under each corner of the seat for a total of 4. A socket and wrench is all youd need.

I took off the passenger door and pulled it out that way. You might want to make some kind of markings on the door hinges to make realingement easier.

You pulled the door off? I didn't have to do that on my 85.

Thanks guys for the help. Can someone explain more what you mean by pushing the belts through?

You have to push the seatbelts through the holes in the seat before it comes out.
