That's an awesome setup, but what about some full size trucks! we have so much room in the engine bay for twin turbos!

Yeah seen it done drove a Malibu with a single turbo like this not to bad. Some people don't like the idea cause its so far back there can be a delay in boost but it does provide a cooler charge since it has air flow the boost pipe acts like an inner cooler. Heck something is better then. Nothing in my book

I can understand that it might have some delay but with the cooler charge does that produce more power?

Also...

Every pound of boost is about 10% power gain roughly and about every 10 degrees colder is 1% in power gain. I am not a fan of the sts turbo kits. Turbos rely on heat to be efficient to spool up and u get mad boost drop with running the cold side pipes that long

The way it was explained to me was it will create close to the same amount of power as having it mounted right off the exhaust manifold in the engine compartment. The only thing I noticed is when you let off the gas it does not blow off instantly that may have just been the setup on this car. There are pros and cons with every system. I've seen a lot of heat related turbo failures on trucks this issue would not happen with this setup.

Ya if your fuel mixture leans out its bad news for everything , turbo setups need to run a bit on the fat side or meth injection ( which is what I going to be adding on to mine ) also the faster u can dump the exhaust after the turbo the better

Re: Let's See Some TWIN TURBO Setups

with a single turbo do you normally run it from both headers/manifolds?

seems like it would equalize back pressure
