Tach install kit--also a filter?
 

I have read through the tach conversion threads which have been really helpful but the tach I was looking to buy at Classic Parts mentions the tach filter is a must. Anyone buy this kit and used the filter?

Wasn't sure how difficult it might be, seems simple enough but thought I'd ask.

They recommend using the filter if you have converted to electronic ignition. I have one on the wife's truck.

I do have a converted HEI so I was going to buy it, were the filter install instructions pretty clear?

I got one from classic parts. How do you hook it up. Obviously the ground is simple enough, but not sure on the other two wires.

I havent gotten to the tach yet, hopefully someone will reply..or if you figure it out can you post a reply?
