87' burban and related model trucks inter ?

How many of you guys with the 80's model full/mid size trucks have the custom flame inter ? Not alot I presoume because I was planning to do it to my truck myself. From my understanding it's flame shaped foam sewn into the carpet and panels then put back into the truck...is it really that simple ? I hope so. I'm about to give it a try as soon as I get the materials. Oh, and guage cluster. You now the old school guage cluster with no RPM tach and no way to relly precisely read anything or know what your trucks doing. Well I saw a ad in truckin magazine about the Dakotadigital dash replacement's...has anyone used or have one of these and can tell me about them ?

They are expensive ($600). Most people don't like them - personally, I DO. I like Knight Rider (it is even my ringtone on my cell) It only come with the gauge cluster and not the plastic panel around it like in the picture. You must rewire the entire end and must change most of the sensors. In order to get the P R N OD D 2 1 indicator, you must add another $90 sender but I think you can keep the original one. When putting it in you must be carful because it is GLASS. It is not too hard to install though.

Forgot to mention the cool parts about it: you get a trip meter, tach, bar & numerical for tach & mph, all warning lights are intigrated, Resettable Service meter, 0-60 MPH timer, High Speed Recall, ¼ Mile Time, End of ¼ Mile speed, High RPM recall, and RPM warning shift light, and adjustible waning points for any gauge.
