I thought I would offer this here before I take it too the Portland Swap Meet coming up next week. This is a VERY NICE gate. It was removed when the truck was new to make way for a canopy with rear doors. It does have a few chips in the paint from handling. It may be the nicest tailgate in original green paint on planet earth. The RH upper trim does have a couple minor defects (see pics). The other trim is very nice but not perfect. 600.00 plus 115.00 shipping in a wooden box to insure a safe arrival. I'm leaving Tuesday for the meet. Price is firm. Thanks, Tom

I have its twin in my garage. ;) Let me tell you, this is better than NOS. Original, perfect original run gates are virtually impossible to find. $600 plus shipping is a STEAL!

VERY NICE. What year is that 68? Did the 67 get lower trim? The 69^ got the "sunken" upper.?

That's it I've had it. I think I'm going to sell my house and property, quit my job and move out by you.:lol: Because I can't seem to find nice items, like this gate, around here anymore.

I am a witness to the absolute awesome condition this gate is in. I was at Tom's place last week and got to touch it.

It is the real deal and by far the best looking gate I have ever seen.

Hey Tom, I was hoping to see you up there to chat and pay you up in cash for the fender. I actually forgot all about till a couple weeks ago and I compared it to some originals and its the real deal. You need some gas money to drive up?:lol: After I sell this gate I could pitch in.
No I bought off a customers truck just like you see it. The PO was selling the truck and had to keep it in the family and wasn't to fond of the buyer. Long story...
It was off a 69 or 70. The 67 had the same upper and did not use the lower trim. The taillamp bezel is also 67 only.

:lol::lol: well...NTO gates are hard to find here too. You should see the 72 Super gate I bought a while back...it's not for sale! We have alot of truck around here. I bought 4 more this week and they came to me. My avatar is my late MC (Monte Carlo) weiner dog and my boy sitting in my race car. Putting him down is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Oh and its buyers market lots of homes around here!
