The end is toast. Try a wrecking yard for a new one. If you can't find one you could take it to a driveline shop and have them cut off the end and put a new one on. Not sure if that can e fixed because the fitment is so tight.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. I went to 3 different junkyard today and only found 1 60-66 c10. And of course the driveshafts were gone :(

Not sure where in L.A. you are, but I had great luck with Drivelines, Inc. They are in Mission Viejo, in Orange County.

The weird thing is this isn't even the side the u joint broke off. This end was still hooked up to the center bearing carrier. Can't fig out how it would get damaged like that

I have a 1964 C10, SBSS drive shaft, I assume its the same. It'll be about a bazillian dollars to ship an entire drive shaft to CA but I can cut one end off and ship it via USPS flat rate box and you can have it welded to yours and rebalanced.

I have the entire drive shaft for sale here for $30 local pick up. I think Med flat rate runs about $12 to anywhere now. So, I'm sure we can figure out a price for just the yolk or cross end for ya.

Shoot me a PM if a 64 is useable for ya.

I broke the rear u-joint on my 69 Chevelle at the dragstrip Saturday. It ruined the end of my driveshaft just like yours. That damage is from the driveshaft getting yanked around when the u-joint broke. Any local driveshaft shop can easily cut off the damaged yoke, weld on another, intall a new u-joint, and balance the entire assembly. It would in all likelihood be well under $100.

I had a whole new heavy duty driveshaft made Monday for my Chevelle at the local driveshaft shop. It was $250 end-to-end.
