Opinions please...

Ok so i have still not pulled the trigger on my new wheels. I respect your guys opinions. For a 3.5/5 drop wat combo would you go with?

1. 18x8 front 18x9.5 rear

2. 18x8 front 20x10 rear

or another size combo?

Opinions?

Front 15x8, Rear 15x10, Steelies. If I were going bigger than 15's I would do 18's or 20's on all corners. No mixing. That's just me though. I was dead set on going with 20x8 and 20x10 on mine. Heck, the 20" tires are just as cheap, if not cheaper than most 15's. But I think when the time comes I am going steelies, at least for a little while. I know I'll end up buying some 20's but at least I can enjoy the truck while I save up the cash. Plus, who said you can't have 2 sets?

buy a 2" spring for the front and add a 1 block in the rear, sale the 1" springs and you will be happy, if you are already thinking 20's in the rear you are gonna wish you got them for the front :chevy:

Another reason to cut your coils or clamp it down before buying moderate drop springs if at all

20" wheels on all for corners and make the fronts 8.5" wide and backs 10" wide. They look a lot better than 18's and 20 in my opinion.;):chevy:

I like a little more rubber on the rim (better ride and less likely to damage a rim in a blow out) but also like a little better handling and with a full size truck as compared to a 15" a good middle of the road is 18" all the way around. I went 17x8" cragars but a good looking 17" is hard to find.

I am running 18/20's and kind of mixed on it. Blazer came that way. Would probably run all 18's so it could have a bit more tire in the back.

Run a 40 or 45 series tire and you will be fine.
(I prefer 40 series)

Leave it stock!!!! Original is worth way more!

When all that customizing wears out and is no longer in style...it won't be worth nearly what you put into it...JMHO..

Go with 20's all the way around. This look will never leave the hotrod and show car circuit.

Spinner rims....lol Oh my, I tried to forget about that fad....knew that wouldnt last long. Remember a story about one where the bearings burned out and got hot enough to come off while driving. I actually know a whells shop that has a couple sets around.

Hey... the cat asked for "opinions", all are welcomed no?

But I will refrain from my opinions on the "big wheels on old rigs" debate. ;)
