WTB 67-72 SWB Fleetside Bed

I am frame-up restoring my truck and with summer break coming up my truck should be in the booth yesterday, but I am without a bed. Really want to get this thing going as it's my first restoration and second vehicle. If ANYONE knows where i can get a moderately workable or flawless SWB bed with markers please contact me at anytime. Again thanks a feel free to call or text at 704- four three eight- 4723 anytime and email/ pm. Location is not too big of a factor but if you live within 100 miles of charlotte, N.C. or greensboro, or anywhere from charlotte to myrtle beach/ wilmington I can most likely meet you.

If you are going to that extent, I would just buy all aftermarket parts - sides, floor, tubs & back. You would be money ahead. If you could find a flawless box you are probably looking at near a couple thousand dollars and even more to make it perfect. Just my opinion. Ive seen the aftermarket beds on trucks that bring $35,000 + at auction.

I've really been contemplating this lately as when i sold my bondo bed there 3-4 available to me, as opposed to know when i can barely find one. Do you know of what brands have the best prices, these guys have been the best i have found at $2600 for a complete steel one http://www.carolinaclassictrucks.com...-complete.html

If that is with tailgate, not bad. You might check with some vendors on the board. I am lucky, LMC & Parts America are both in my area. Just make sure you pre-fit before any prime or paint in case of any defects & returns.

I agree with Mike unless your lucky enough to find a nice on at the right price, but there few and far between. I'm looking myself and have trucking available so I'm looking cross country. Have found a few, but the good ones are pricey. I have all good oem parts other than bed sides, and will buy after market if it comes to that.

Good luck !
Gary

I've got a 67 swb. Not perfect and no side markers. No tailgate or wood for the floor.
