steering column swap 1982 to 1978 GMC

I am thinking about putting my 1982 GMC tilt colunm in my 1978 GMC. Both trucks are 3/4 and the '78 is a 4X4. Both have the three speed trans with granny. I looked up the neutral safety switch and they are different.

What do I need to look out for if I do this swap? Im concerned about the wire connectors.

Any advice or feed back is appreciated.
