Re: Can someone explain this to me

They have several dozen items at that exact price...its likely a glitch in there auction management software or else someone is taking advantage of the new laws in Colorado and Washington.

Re: Can someone explain this to me

the item history says only one was sold for 177 dollars.

if you ask my opinion, ebay is worthless for sellers now, if you put a buy it now on an auction you are guaranteed to get a scammer bidding to send you fake payment emails so they can phish for your paypal account. if you get a real bidder they can literally back out even after shipping and there is nothing you can do. I quit selling on ebay after I sold $1100 worth of stuff in 7 auctions and only one $35 dollar bidder paid. another one did not pay at all and filed a complaint after 5 weeks with paypal who immediately locked up my paypal account. even though they hadnt paid for anything, my account was locked up for 3 weeks while paypal sorted it out. I couldnt leave negative feedback because they got rid of it for sellers but the guy sure as hell left it for me.

I seen those. Sent an email and asked if they were gold or did he have a couple extra numbers in the price. The reply I got back was " bumpers are on back order, buy one and I'll ship when in" yeah right.

These repop parts are getting more and more expensive. Do you think you 'll get free shipping at that price?

LT1 burb: that guy said that when and item goes out of stock it reverts to the 3499 price. thats what he told me anyway. no one would obviously but it at that price

That makes sense but I wonder why the auction doesn't just end.

Re: Can someone explain this to me

I know a power ebay seller so I asked him. He said that it was easier with drop ship items that go in and out of stock to just raise the price to unobtanium when out of stock then drop it when back in stock, than it was to cancel and relist auctions. This way he keeps the auction open and doesnt pay listing fees every time an item goes out of stock then comes back.

I have no stake in that explanation, its what I was told, so throw darts.
