DANA 44 locking hub reatining snap ring
Im replacing the bearings and oil seal on the passenger side hub on my 61 gmc (63 chevy frame), and in the process of removing it i ended up have to use a die grinder and cut the internal snap ring that holds the gears in for the locking hub in order to get it out, someone put mile marker hubs on it and put the snap ring in backwards with the rounded edege facing out. Ive been to sevral places in town to try and get parts but the only option ive been givin is to buy another set of hubs to get the snap ring. anyone have a place to get these seprate?

do your hubs use the stock snap ring? there were some on e-bay awhile ago.
