WTB - SWB fleetside parts

I am going to try and piece together a nice SWB fleet bed for my 68. I would be interested in good clean original metal only, realizing what it's going to cost me. Not looking for perfect but something a good blasting and minor bodywork would make it really nice. Have cash, will travel. (within reason :D )

Let me know what you have and what you might want to get for it. Wood Bed preferred. Thanks.

If you got a good stepside bed.I have a good fleetside I would trade. The one I have is on the blue truck on my profile pic.but its steel floor?

Yeah, Im interested in a trade..

Can you send a couple more pictures when you have a chance? My stepside bed is really clean, original wood bed.

Steel floor is not a deal breaker.. I just like a wood bed better.

It does have some damage on driver side around tail light were someone bumped it. Inside of bed is in real good shape. The whole bed is really good. Except that one side.

No rust. And no bondo of my knowledge other than rear drive side. Tailgate is good also. I will get pics tomorrow if not raining or work.

mrdana60 -- So, you're interested in my stepper bed? It is very clean, the lip around the fenders is really nice. The pass side fender had one small spot in it about the size of a dime but a small patch has been tacked in it. The same pass side has had some prior damage, kinda dented a little like the bumper may have gotten into it at some point. It's maybe the size of a tennis ball (?) We found some filler in it when it was blasted. I have dollied 98% of it out but it needs a little final blocking before paint. The drivers fender is ridiculously nice. I have never seen another one as clean. I have the steps and original tail light stuff too. .. it's the originals so it may need to be cleaned up, maybe new lenses etc.

Shoot me some pictures when you can and we'll go from there. I have family in Piedmont so I could make a trip to Centre, no problem. Thanks.

10-4. Would that whole lower section need to be replaced? Is it damaged around the tail light housing area or just pushed up on that lower corner?

(Not pushing for pics, I know it's raining .. :) ) Just curious about it.

So the wheel houses are included, splash shields..etc

Do you need to get it moved pretty quickly? It may be a couple weeks before I could pick it up
