Intermittent Wiper Module for 1980 Suburban
 

Can anyone direct me to a source to purchase a new intermittent wiper module for a 1980 Suburban?

LMC only sells the module for the 86 and newer trucks (wiper on the turns signal), so I'm guessing it won't work, right?

Yep, that's the switch - but it is my understanding that there is a separate module to control the intermittent function, which is the only feature that doesn't currently work with my otherwise original 80 Burb.

YOU ARE RIGHT SIR!! It plugs into the back of the switch and the vehicles harness plugs into it. all plug and play. I'll look up the part number for the module at work tomorrow and see if any dealerships still have any left in their old stock.
Yeah I work in the parts dept of a gm dealership.

you can get it online from Rock auto, O'reilly auto parts, Napa or even auto zone the AC Delco part number is D6355A how ever it's not cheep around $100
-it has a 1 year limited warranty

I wired my wipers to a later model steering column, so I may have one that came out of my truck. I also have a new AC Delco wiper switch that I never used just like the one pictured.

I found the cheapest of these from amazon and was delco parts not some aftermarket offshore crud.

Can I convert my 77 two speed wipers to intermittent by changing the 77 switch to an 80s switch and module, or do I have to change the motor also?
