removed my water pump is it my original?

came off my 87 says 376444

also says GM and looks to be 81 and has a date code of 012.

doesn't add up but i've owned the truck since 91 surely it wasn't replaced before i bought it?

If its GM it will have a machined neck on it for hose. You can buy new ZZ4 GM water pumps for $45 shipped

truck is an 87 and it's 100% a gm pump it says GM on it casted in

probably is but beside GM it says 81 not 87. it also says 81 on the back i assume thats the year?

81 could have been the year they made the casting and used it a few years later maybe.
