83 side mirrors ???
 

im looking for some ss or white mirrors for a 83 truck- that are extended out further than stock ! was they ever made ? not the bigger door mirror with the big lower mount !OR is it possible to cut and weld an extension in some originals ? what i have is a truck with a hodges car hauler bed on it ,and needs mirrors further out -w/o the big trucker look ! thanks

There was an OEM-looking pull-out towing mirror for these trucks. They are still around, let me see if I can find a picture.

This the style I am referring to. I have seen them on ebay occasionally and in junkyards. Who knows, maybe someone here has a set for sale.

I have been wondering if they make extensions that you can put on over the factory ones. Kind of like they do for the newer trucks.

YES ,that would work !! just didnt want the ones with a big support on lower door ,seems like if you would bump something the door would dent ?? thanks guys for pics
