Building a custom muffler. What do you think of these?

I'm building some mufflers for my brown truck. You think these designs will work? In between the center sections on these will be some damping material. I like the design in the right and so far I think it should actually flow good and sound can be tuned depending in how big I make the inside holes. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...F17ED1F59F.jpg

honestly i dont think either one of those are going to flow very well at all... the one on the left you will have almost no flow at all.. the one on the right has alot of abrupt turns that will kill your velocity.
