Help with 1969 Badges / Emblems

I've been trying to figure out what badges should go on my truck and need some help.

I have 1969 short bed with has the these options on SPID:

W/BASE 115
MODEL CE10734
BX2 BODY SIDE MOLDING-W
B85 BODY SIDE MOLDING
E81 PICK-UP BOX FLOOR
G50 HEAVY DUTY REAR SPR
LS9 350 CU. IN. V-8 ENG
U63 RADIO PUSH BUTTON
V37 CHROME-BUMPER FR&RR
Z5B AMMETER-OIL GAUGE
Z62 CUST-COMF APPEAR EQ
500 BLACK
630 BLACK CUSTOM CLOTH

Pretty sure that it's a Custom/10 DELUXE or Custom/10

I do have the chrome wing window trim and chrome windshield trim and chrome rear window trim

My questions are what badges I should have on this truck and where?

The fenders:
Custom/10 with the 8-350 badge under it? or Custom/10 with the deluxe badge under it?
if with the deluxe badge would the 8-350 badge go under the front marker or not have that at all?

The door:
Is there a badge that goes on each door just under the glass and forward of the handle?

The glove box:
What badge goes on the glove box?

Thanks for any help, just want to get the right ones back on it.

Re: Help with 1969 Badges / Emblems

On my truck, which is a 71 Custom/10... The emblems were on the fender, and the 350 emblem is under the front marker lights. No other emblems besides those.

I don't think yours is a customer deluxe, those usually say customer deluxe on the spid. I don't think there is supposed to be anything on the door unless it's a 67-68 with the custom or cst badge, or a custom camper (which would be in front of the door handle).

too much stuff 05-03-2013 02:47 PM

I think it would be custom/10 with an 8-350 underneath on the rear of the fender.

thanks for the replys fellas.

I take it if it had the 8-350 under the Custom/10 then nothing would go by the front marker?

What about the glove box.. Anyone know what a Custom 10 had as a glove box emblem?

The "Deluxe" badge was not used on Z62 trucks until 71-72.

In 69 there were four choices
C/10
Custom/10
CST/10
CustomCamper/10

The "Custom/10" would be the correct trim/series fender emblem for your truck.

The "8 350" is the correct engine emblem and is placed under the series emblem.

The only emblem in 69 located under the front marker would have been "FOUR WHEEL DRIVE" which is not applicable to your truck.

There are no door emblems on your truck.

There should be a "CHEVROLET/Custom" on your glove box door.

Thanks for posting that up. I'd love to get a hold of a 69 4x4 someday, but one project at a time. :-)
