Installing front roll pan
 

I ordered a front roll pan to my 88 crew cab.

That's for c10 but I assumed that it fits to my truck also.

Do I have to take this piece off?

I have little problems installing that and it seems like it doesn't fit to my truck at all.

That piece should unbolt somewhere.

Pretty sure you need to cut front of frame rails off to fit them...

X2. need to cut off part of the frame that extends past your grill.

and yes i think for a smooth look you need to pull that lower piece off as it sticks out past fenders.. its not a direct bolt on deal its designed as a starting point im pretty sure you will need do some fab work to finish it right.. I may be wrong tho.

I know you have to cut off the front frame rails,Most are listed for off road use because of that.
